Taco salad is an American multi-ingredient, multi-flavoured dish with taco seasoning and American ranch sauce that originated in Texas during the 1960s, and is made with a fun and elegant chicken recipe with crispy tortilla chips .

Ingredients
- 1 onion sliced
- ½Kg minced chicken
- 1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 slices of tortillas
- 4 tbsp cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tbsp chopped lettuce
- 1⁄2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 avocado cut into cubes
- 4 tbsp ranch dressing
- ½Teaspoon of taco seasoning
Method of preparation
- Heat the olive oil in the pan, roast the onion, garlic and chicken, sprinkle with taco seasoning, salt and pepper
- Spread the tortilla slices in a small metal plate greased with oil, and transfer them to the oven to check on low heat, until they are crispy and saucer-shaped
- Fill the roasted tortilla with chicken, lettuce, tomato and avocado filling with a drizzle of ranch dressing and cheese, serve immediately
