- ½Cup chopped grape leaves
- ½Cup lemon juice
- ½Cup raisins
- ½Teaspoon pepper
- Salt to taste
- ½Cup chopped parsley
- ½Cup chopped dill
- 1 lemon
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon crusty mint
Method of preparation
- Heat the oil in a deep saucepan, add the pine nuts and ½ cup of green onions and stir for 5 minutes until the pine acquires a brown color .
- Add the rice, chicken broth, grape leaves, lemon juice, raisins, pepper and salt and let it boil, then cover the pot, reduce the fire and leave the ingredients on low heat until the rice absorbs the broth and simmer for about 30 minutes .
- Add parsley, dill, green onions and tomatoes, stir with a fork, then put the salad in a serving dish and garnish with pieces of lemon .
