Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain white flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • A quarter cup corn oil
  • 200 ml milk
  • Butter mold 200 g
  • Soft sugar or Shira for serving

Method of preparation

  1. Sift the flour with a sieve .
  2. We add to him baking powder .
  3. Dissolve the yeast and add it too .
  4. We add sugar .
  5. Add the eggs, oil and milk .
  6. Knead well to get a cohesive dough .
  7. Cover and let rest for an hour and a half .
  8. Cut the dough into fist-sized pieces .
  9. We spread each piece thinly longitudinally .
  10. Grease the dough pieces with butter well .
  11. Roll each piece to form a roll and then cut the roller in half vertically .
  12. Roll each section into a roll and make the side pieces to the outside .
  13. Arrange the pieces in an oven tray coated with foil and butter .
  14. Bake for 20 minutes at 170 degrees .
  15. Finally we distribute fine sugar or Shira as desired.
