Carob smoothie, one of the popular juices in Egypt especially in the month of Ramadan, such as tamarind, Sobia and other drinks. Juice, carob is full of health benefits is important, care, phosphorus, magnesium, vitamin B, protein and antioxidants, plus it keeps the feeling of thirst or hunger, in a nutshell, it's the perfect drink that helps you get long hours of fasting.
Ingredients:
- Kg carob
- 6 cups water
- Two cups sugar
Method:
- Boil the sugar in a saucepan with a glass of water over medium heat, add the carob after washing and let it boil slightly .
- Add the rest of the cups of water and let it boil for 30 until the water is brown .
- Filter the water from the carob, adjust the sweetness of the drink to taste, then let it cool slightly and put it in the refrigerator to become a cold and refreshing drink .
