  • To prepare the cake layer:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup white flour
  • ½Cup white sugar
  • ½Cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ½Cup oil
  • 2 tsp Peking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • To prepare the creamy layer:
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • ½Cup condensed milk
  • 1 Chantilly cream envelope
  • 1 cup cold water
  • To prepare the chocolate layer:
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • ½Cup boiled milk
  • 1 chocolate bar
  • ½Cup water
  • Sprinkle with chocolate for garnish

Method of preparation

  1. We begin to prepare the cake and put in a bowl both eggs, vanilla and sugar and beat well then add water and oil and sift over the flour, baking powder and cocoa and beat until the ingredients are well mixed .
  2. Heat the oven to 180 degrees, then put butter paper on a rectangular tray, pour in the cake mixture and leave for about 15-20 minutes until cooked .
  3. We take out the cake, pour over it a glass of cold milk, cover and set aside so that it does not dry out .
  4. Whisk the cream powder with cold water until it forms and then add the condensed milk and beat well .
  5. Place half of the cream layer on top of the cake then melt the chocolate bar, add it over the rest of the cream and whisk until mixed and we have chocolate mousse .
  6. Spread the chocolate mousse over the white cream layer and place the tray in the freezer for an hour .
  7. We begin to prepare the chocolate layer, place the cut chocolate bar over the boiling milk and stir until completely dissolved .
  8. Dissolve the gelatin in water, add it over the chocolate, stir well and let the mixture cool completely .
  9. We remove the tray from the freezer, put the chocolate layer on top and iron well .
  10. Put the tray in the freezer for an extra hour until the chocolate layer holds.
  11. Then decorate with chocolate sprinkles and cut the chocolate mousse cake so that it is ready to serve .
