  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup starch (cornflower)
  • 1 cup oil or butter
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ orange juice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Sprinkle with orange
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder

Method of preparation

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl, put with it starch, baking powder and a pinch of salt, stir well and set aside .
  2. Put the eggs in a bowl with vanilla, beat well, then add the sugar and whisk until well mixed and the color of the mixture becomes white .
  3. Add the orange zest, whisk, then add the oil and whisk until the ingredients are mixed .
  4. Add the orange juice and whisk, then gradually add the flour and starch mixture and continue whisking until completely mixed .
  5. Grease the cake mold with butter, sprinkle with flour, then pour the cake mixture into it .
  6. Put the mold in the oven at 180 for 30 minutes then turn off the oven and leave the cake in it about 10 minutes .
  7. We take out the cake, cut it, let it cool and so it is ready to serve .
