  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup hot milk
  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
  • Pinch of salt

Method of preparation

  1. Put the sugar in a deep saucepan over medium heat and continue stirring until completely dissolved .
  2. Add the butter, stir until it melts, then add the hot milk and continue stirring until the ingredients are well mixed .
  3. Add the milk powder and stir until it disappears in the previous mixture completely and then let it boil over medium to low heat and add a pinch of salt .
  4. We continue to stir the mixture until the consistency becomes homogeneous, soft and heavy .
  5. Leave the caramel to cool slightly and then decorate it with cake or ornaments or let it cool in the fridge so that we can form it and use it as a cohesive filling .
