  • · 1 cup water
  • * 3 tablespoons rose water
  • · 1 cup sugar
  • * 500g kanafa paste
  • · 200g melted butter
  • · 1 cup skim milk
  • · 2 tbsp sugar
  • * 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • · 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • * Half cup pomegranate seeds
  • · Pinch of cinnamon
  • · Dried rose petals for storage

Method of preparation

  1. * Prepare rose syrup by mixing water and a glass of sugar together. Bring to boil for 8 minutes, then remove from heat and add a tablespoon of rose water. Put aside to cool.
  2. · Create Konafa dough with melted butter and place in a pan.
  3. · Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Then transfer to a serving dish.
  4. · Embossed with rose syrup and set aside.
  5. · In a large pan, beat the milk with cornstarch, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil until thick. Remove from heat and add the rest of the Rose Water.
  6. * Spread the Rose pudding mixture over the kunafa. Then we put strawberries, pomegranates and Rose roses on the kunafa before serving. And healthy!
