  • Two cups of warm water
  • Two cups of white flour

Method of preparation

  1. Put in a bowl both white flour, salt, sugar and yeast and stir until the ingredients are combined .
  2. Put a cup and a half of water and stir the ingredients until mixed together well .
  3. We continue to stir the ingredients of the dough until we reach the desired consistency and we may need to add the rest of the amount of water or not depending on the type of flour so that the texture of the dough is neither liquid nor rigid .
  4. Cover the dough nylon and let penetrate for about half an hour at room temperature .
  5. After that, stir well until completely empty of air, then heat a non-stick pan over high heat and pour the mixture in the form of small, spaced circles .
  6. After the bubbles appear we remove the cutlets, let them cool aside and cover with a clean cloth so that they do not dry, and repeat the process until the quantity is over .
  7. Qatayef is ready for any filling to taste .
