How to make a regular Egyptian cake

The cake is a flour, milk, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla and Peking powder where you mix the ingredients together until the cake mix is formed soft and then put in the mold after being painted and sprinkled with flour and put in the oven and be ready in just half an hour then it can be served with coffee, tea or juice .

  • 1 cup white sugar
  • ½Cup butter or vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½Cup milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ cup flour

Method of preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and then grease the cake mold with fat, sprinkle with flour and set aside while we prepare the cake .
  2. Put in a bowl both sugar and butter and beat with an electric whisk until the mixture rises and becomes creamy .
  3. Add the eggs gradually, whisking after each addition, then add vanilla and get out the ingredients well .
  4. Sift the flour and baking powder, add to the mixture and continue whisking until well mixed .
  5. Add the milk and continue whisking until the cake ingredients are completely mixed and we have a smooth and smooth mixture .
  6. Pour the cake mixture into the mold and place in the oven for about 30-40 minutes so that the Egyptian cake is ready to serve .
