How to make semolina ornaments with milk

Semolina dessert is cold and tasty and easy to prepare also and the family will love it old and young for sure where semolina is roasted and mixed with sugar and cream and then put in a dish and on top of it a creamy layer appetizing and decorate the ornaments caramel sauce in its beautiful color and distinctive taste.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soft semolina
  • Half a glass of cream
  • Half a glass of white sugar
  • To prepare the cream layer:
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1 whole egg + 1 egg yolk
  • ½Cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • Halabi pistachios for decorating
  • Shira to apply as desired

Method of preparation

  1. Put the semolina in a bowl one over low heat while continuing to stir until golden brown .
  2. Add sugar and continue stirring until the sugar dissolves .
  3. Add the cream and stir until the ingredients clump together .
  4. We put the semolina layer in a glass dish, stretch it, stack it well with the dish and set aside .
  5. We begin to prepare the second layer, put 2½cups of milk in a deep saucepan and add sugar on top of it, then put the eggs in another bowl, add flour and starch and beat well with half a glass of milk .
  6. Put the milk on the fire, halve the egg-starch mixture over the milk and continue stirring over medium heat until the mixture boils and becomes thick .
  7. Add vanilla and butter, stir a little, then put the mixture on top of the semolina layer, cover the cream mixture with nylon and put in the refrigerator for an hour .
  8. Then we decorate it with pistachios and Shira so that the semolina ornaments are ready to serve .
