How to make Syrian qutayef nuts

Al Qatif is a Syrian delicacy that can not resist its taste or shape and can be prepared at home with ease where a filling of pistachios, almonds and walnuts is placed inside the Qatif and closed tightly and then fried with protective oil and placed in diameter and served .

  • ½Kg large cutlets
  • 1 ½ cup sugar
  • ½Cup walnuts
  • ½Cup almonds
  • ½Cup pistachio
  • Qatar
  • Oil for frying

Method of preparation

  1. Put almonds, pistachios and walnuts in a bowl, add sugar on top, mix well and the filling is ready .
  2. We prepare a piece of Qatif and put a amount of filling in it to taste and then fold and close tightly from the ends so that the filling does not come out of it during frying .
  3. We protect the frying oil well in a deep saucepan and put in it al-Qatif and Hamrah from both sides and then half of the oil well and put it in a dish and pour them the diameter and flip al-Qatif until you drink the diameter well .
  4. Halve them from the excess diameter and put them in the serving dish and so they are ready to serve .
