Ingredients
- 14 oz tuna
- 30 oz white beans
- 1 red onion sliced
- Salt
- Ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- Basil, oregano or other herbs can be added
Method of preparation
- Halve the canned tuna, put in a large bowl, add the white beans and stir well.
- Mix olive oil, vinegar and spices together and pour over the tuna and bean mixture (we may not need to add the whole amount) .
- Stir all the salad ingredients until we make sure they are well combined and then put the salad in a serving dish and decorate with chopped fresh parsley and other herbs to taste .
