
The amazing lentil salad with turkey bacon is very easy and quick to prepare and consists of green lentils, bacon, onions, bell peppers and garlic with a wonderful mustard sauce .

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked green lentils
- 3 chopped bacon turkey steaks
- 1 ½ cup chopped red onion
- ½Cup chopped red peppers
- 1⁄2 tablespoon garlic
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- To prepare the sauce:
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1⁄2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Method of preparation
- Put the turkey in a pan on medium heat and stir for 5 minutes until it become crispy .
- Remove the meat fat from the pan keeping 1 tbsp, then add the onion, red pepper and garlic and stir until the ingredients are cooked for 5 minutes .
- In the meantime, put the olive oil, mustard and balsamic vinegar in a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients until completely mixed and set aside .
- Add the cooked lentils to the pan, stir in the meat and onion mixture, pour the sauce and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste .
- Put the salad in a serving dish, decorate the dish with fresh parsley and serve warm .
