
Basbousa Karwat is the same as ordinary basbousa but its shape is slightly different and is characterized by horizontal and vertical lines of cream that are placed on its surface before entering into the oven, becoming like the famous Karwat cloth so named, and for the taste they are quite similar to ordinary basbousa with the addition of cream flavor .

Ingredients
- Half a glass of sugar
- Half a cup of soft semolina
- Half a glass of white flour
- Grated coconut cup
- 1 Envelope packing powder
- Half a glass of melted butter
- Half a cup of cream
- 2 eggs
Method of preparation
- Mix all the dry ingredients.
- Mix the liquid ingredients together.
- Add the dry ingredients to the liquid gradually, whisking until we have a combination of thick and homogeneous.
- Lightly grease an oven tray with butter and pour more in.
- Put two tablespoons of cream in the pastry bag and make crossed lines of cream on top of the tray
- Put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Then we take it out and pour the cold Sherpa over it.
- Garnish with pistachios or almonds to taste.
