
Turkish basbousa has become known in a lot of places around the world it is very tasty and simple ingredients can be prepared wherever you are it is a semolina, milk, sugar and Shera and it is easy and does not need much effort in making it and will be loved by your children and guests for sure .

Ingredients
- 3 cup semolina
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 2 tsp Peking powder
- To prepare the Shira:
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
- Lemon juice
- Peanuts for garnish
Method of preparation
- Put sugar in a bowl and pour over the milk and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved .
- Add semolina and stir well.
- Add the baking powder and stir all the ingredients well together until completely combined .
- Put the mixture in the bayrex dish and let it rest aside for about an hour or two .
- During this we bring the Shira, put the water and sugar on low heat until it boils about a quarter of an hour, stir then add the lemon juice and turn off the fire .
- Cut the basbousa, decorate with pistachios and then heat the oven to 170 degrees for 15-20 minutes depending on the type of oven .
- Remove from the oven, cut and let rest for 5 minutes, then pour over the warm Shira so that it is ready to serve .
