Ingredients
- 1 kg carob
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 liters of water
Method of preparation
- Soak the carob in a bowl with 2 liters of water, leave for 12 hours or all night hours.
- Then transfer the carob with water to a pot, put on high heat and boil for 1 hour, covering the pot.
- Filter carob syrup from it, keep the juice and discard the remaining carob pieces.
- Add sugar and mix well with carob syrup, put in the refrigerator for an hour and then serve cold.And in winter you can serve it hot.
