Carob natural drink carob is a drink derived from a plant belonging to the legume group named carob, this delicious drink is rich in vitamins and proteins and has a lot of benefits, and its taste is delicious, Madam prepare this juice in the month of Ramadan next to your dishes.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg carob
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 2 liters of water

Method of preparation

  1. Soak the carob in a bowl with 2 liters of water, leave for 12 hours or all night hours.
  2. Then transfer the carob with water to a pot, put on high heat and boil for 1 hour, covering the pot.
  3. Filter carob syrup from it, keep the juice and discard the remaining carob pieces.
  4. Add sugar and mix well with carob syrup, put in the refrigerator for an hour and then serve cold.And in winter you can serve it hot.
