Drying figs in the sun, you must follow the following simple steps:
- Leave the fig beads until they are fully ripe and about to fall off the tree .
- Soak the figs in boiling water, salted for a minute and then leave to dry on a clean cloth .
- Distribute about 5 figs on wooden sticks and put in the sun for two days until completely dry .
- It is best to check the fig every morning so that it does not become dry as the fig beads should be soft and elastic and no liquids come out of them when squeezed .
