  • 2 cups soft semolina
  • 1 ½ cup lukewarm water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • Egg yolk
  • ½Teaspoon baking powder
  • 6 tbsp flour
  • Vegetable oil

Method of preparation

  1. Put in a blender all of semolina, yeast, sugar, water, and encourage electric mixer for a few minutes until ingredients are completely combined .
  2. Put the mixture in a bowl, add both egg yolks, baking powder and salt and mix until the ingredients are well combined .
  3. After the ingredients are mixed we gradually add the flour, continue mixing and then knead until we have a soft dough that sticks out slightly by hand .
  4. Cover the dough and put it in a warm place for half an hour, so choose it doubles its size .
  5. Remove the dough from the bowl with oil, form balls, cover and let it brew for half an hour .
  6. We protect the frying oil, fry the discs in it, turn it over until it acquires a golden color on both ends and then halve the oil .
  7. Put it in a serving dish and ready.
