Eclair is a French dessert with a wonderful taste, which children love very much and they like to eat at school, so we offer you an easy, simple and inexpensive way to make Eclair at home with ingredients that are butter, milk, flour and cream .

  • Cooking time: 40 minutes
  • Total time: 55 minutes


  • ½Cup white flour
  • 4 tbsp room temperature butter
  • ½Cup water
  • ½Cup liquid milk
  • ½Teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½Teaspoon vanilla
  • Cream Chantilly
  • Chocolate for decorating

Method of preparation

  1. Put in a bowl both butter, water, liquid milk, salt and sugar and put on medium heat until it boils and the butter dissolves completely .
  2. Turn off the fire and gradually add the flour to the butter mixture while continuing to stir until the flour absorbs all the liquid and we form a soft dough .
  3. Put the dough on the fire, turn it over for two minutes, then let it cool slightly .
  4. After the dough becomes lukewarm we gradually add the eggs where we add the first egg and mix it with the dough well then the second and knead then the third with vanilla and knead well .
  5. Place the eclair dough in the decorating bag and form the eclair fingers on a tray with butter paper .
  6. We put the tray in the oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes .
  7. After the dough has cooled, we pierce it from the sides and center and put in it a filling of cream and then decorate the pieces of eclair with chocolate so that they are ready to serve .
