Benefits of hazelnut and its harm

Many of the products from it can be seen as witch hazel water, distilled from the dried leaves of the plant, the bark, and part of the twigs of the modern plant .

It is taken orally to treat diarrhea, colitis, coughing up blood, vomiting blood, tuberculosis, colds, fever, tumors and cancer. Some people use hazelnuts directly on the skin when itching, pain, swelling (inflammation), eye inflammation, skin injury, inflammation of the mucous membranes, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, bruises, insect bites, small burns, and others related to the skin.

Uses of hazelnuts :

This plant can be partially effective in the following cases:

  • Hemorrhoids: applying hazelnut water to the skin can temporarily help soothe itching, uncomfortable diarrhea, burns caused by hemorrhoids, and other disorders.
  • Light bleeding: put leaves, bark or water on the skin to reduce bleeding
  • Inflammation of the skin: put a hazelnut creamtooth and soothes the inflammation of the skin, but its effect is not as hydrocortisone, and some studies have shown that putting a special hazelnut ointment on the affected skin showed an improvement comparable to some drugs. A

A 14-day hazelnut cream is also effective for eczema and skin itching, but not as effective as hydrocortisone therapy.

Side effects of hazelnut :

  1. The use of benzodiazepine is completely safe in most adults, when added directly to the skin, but may cause some irritation in a few.
  2. It is safe for most adults when taking small amounts orally, but for some it can cause stomach upset, while taking it in large quantities can lead to liver problems.
  3. Hazelnuts contain a carcinogenic chemical, but in very small quantities they are not cause for concern.
  4. Hazelnuts should be partially safe for children when applied directly to the skin.
  5. For pregnant and lactating women: there is not enough evidence to ensure safety when using hazelnuts, in both cases a reliable drug should be adopted and its use avoided.
