
Qatif with semolina and flour are traditional Arabic recipes that are very popular during Ramadan, Eid and all occasions, and can be prepared at any time because they are easy and tasty and can be made several fillings such as nuts, cream or sweet cheese and then fried and dipped in diameter .

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup + 2 tbsp warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½Teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 ½ cup flour
- ½Cup soft semolina
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- ½Teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 egg to taste and can be dispensed with
Method of preparation
- Mix yeast, warm water and sugar well, set aside until the foam rises, then add the rest of the ingredients and whisk until well mixed .
- We cover more and leave aside for an hour or two until bubbles appear .
- Then carry a non-stick pan and pour a quarter cup of the mixture over the pan and encourage small circle .
- When the bubbles cover the surface of the Qatif and become golden from below we remove them from the pan and let them cool aside .
- Cover katayef with a clean towel while more, and then draw them with nylon so they don't become dry
- We fill them as desired either with pistachios, walnuts or cream .
